• General hydraulic repairs and maintenance. Boiler making and machining.
• Flew to Caines, boarded the ship. Diagnosed and repaired problem with hydraulic remote operated ballast system. Disembarked in Melbourne.

Camel Trophy

• Supply ULP and dispensing platform for Camel trophy launch race fromTonga to Samoa

Boral Gas

• General hydraulic repairs and maintenance. Boiler making and machining.

Dilmun Navigation

• General hydraulic repairs and maintenance. Boiler making and machining during yearly dry docking

ASP Shipping / Henning

• General hydraulic repairs and maintenance. Boiler making and machining during yearly dry-docking

Southern Moana

• Attended vessel which had complete blackout in Port Villa, Vanuatu.
• Diagnosed, Serviced + Repaired Ships Main + Backup Engine.
• Service hydraulic components on ships cranes during voyage from Suva to Gladstone Australia.

Hall Contracting

• Flooded and refloated 6,000 ton barge to transport 2,000 ton cutter suction dredge from Suva Harbour to Eygpt.

Ministry of Finance -Fiji

• Diagnose and rectify problems with raw water pumps that provide water to treatment plants reservoir in Bar. Subject commission to advise all other raw water pumping stations in Viti Levu (work currently in progress)

Tuvalu (TMTI)

• Construct seamen training facility wharf for Tuvalu training school in Amatuku Island (work currently in progress).

Clay Engineering

• Manufacture 4 x Generators for outer island resort use.

Vergnet SA

• Manufacture 2 x Generators for backup power for Sigatoka Windmill Project

Windgate Marketing

• Diagnose, Service + Repair Diesel Generator Breakdowns in various outer island locations.

Mitch + Vivien - Waidroka Bay

• Diagnose, Service + Repair Breakdowns on backup generator.

John Bennett (Rotuma)

• Install Bio Fuel Conversion system to enable diesel powered engine to run on Bio Fuel (vegetable oil eg. coconut oil, dilo oil etc)

Bligh Water Shipping

• Recovery of MV Westland that ran aground during Cyclone Gene on the reef off Nadi

Total (Fiji) Ltd

• Install railing system ontop of Total Fuel Trucks Fiji wide.

Island Hoopers

• Recovery + salvage Helicopter that crashed in the Lami Bay, April 2008

Pacific Building System + Engineered Earthwork

• All Hydraulic Repair + Maintenance on their machinery + equipment. Barging of supplies and building material from Suva and Taveuni to Laucala Island Resort for the construction of the Resort's Airport runway

who are we

Seamech Limited (from "sea mechanical") is a family owned company based in Suva, Fiji in the South Pacific.

It is Fiji's only Dedicated Hydraulic Sales, Service and Engineering Facility.

We are also manufactures longline fishing equipment (longline reels) and we also operate a successful marine rescue and salvage operation.

We are competent and well-established Fluid Management and General Engineers based at Walu Bay with a fully equipped workshop manned by a team of 33 and an operational total compliment of 42 that includes our managerial and admin staff.

Our organisation is a service and maintenance based organisation, the core of which is fluid management of Oil, Water and Air.

We also have a fabricating/boiler making division and a section that looks after heavy plant maintenance and manufacturing of generators and longline fishing equipment.
